Hello, this is D from Global HUB Makuhari.

Today, I’d like to talk about a happy topic! On Sunday, October 30, we held a Halloween party and an event to celebrate Global HUB Makuhari’s 5th anniversary! I will show you lots of photos of the event. The quality of the costumes and food was amazing! This is what’s fun about living in a sharehouse!

About 20 people attended, as it was Sunday. It’s a punchy collection of photos. (Pretty good, guys!)

People prepared their own costumes or borrowed from share mates who had many costumes, and enjoyed the event in their own fashion. Everyone has great taste!

To organize this event, we split into five teams for planning!

We came up with a party menu with Ayano, who is an excellent cook.

Time to do some shopping.
We followed Ayano to the Costco Makuhari Warehouse. We bought pumpkins, carrots, and other ingredients for the Halloween menu, as well as dinner rolls and wieners in such quantities that we could almost hear the signal for the party to begin.
And then we all cooked together.

Global HUB Makuhari 5th Anniversary Board Game

The unique feature of this board game is that the instructions written in the squares are based on real-life events related to Global HUB Makuhari. Each time you read the instructions, you will be reminded of those events and be able to look back on your own life.

The winning team would receive a luxurious product related to the number “5” of the 5th anniversary. We answered the questions written in the squares, sometimes seriously, sometimes going all out. During the heated battle, the pure and adorable side of us came out, and you can see everyone was having fun.

I learned an important lesson while organizing this event.
My share mates Yukko, Ayano, Kuro, and I took the lead in planning and organizing the event. This event was a great success because of the participation of Global HUB Makuhari’s members and their positive attitude toward having fun.

In the middle of the event, the Global HUB Makuhari 5th anniversary movie was played to reflect on our daily lives and to raise our spirits for the games. It was a concept movie of sorts. We had a lot of people cooperate in making this video. Some people were suddenly invited to an outside location around Makuhari Hongo… Thank you to the Kizunaya management team and the members who live here for their video messages!
