Private rooms are also equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioner, single bed, curtains, and storage space, but some of these items vary from house to house, so please inquire for details.
Is there a time limit for using the shared spaces?
Yes, you can use the shared spaces 24 hours a day.
Is the kitchen crowded?
There are times when the kitchen gets crowded, such as in the evening. We ask that everyone uses it in a shared manner.
Is there a bathtub in the bathroom?
Yes, there are bath tubs available. The number of bath tubs varies from house to house, so please check when you visit the house.
Is there a charge for showers, washing machines, and dryers?
Showers and washing machines are available for free in all houses. If the house is equipped with a dryer, you will have to pay only for the dryer.
Is there bicycle parking available?

Is the internet available?
Wireless LAN is available in all houses as a free service.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking is prohibited in the entire building. However, you can smoke in the houses that have smoking areas according to the rules. Smoking in the rooms and houses is strictly prohibited.
How do you clean the common areas?
Basically, we ask our residents to clean and use good manners with each other, but we do have a regular cleaning service once or twice a week to support daily cleaning.
Is it possible for friends to stay overnight or visit?
Yes, it is. However, there are rules and regulations that apply.
Depending on the time of year, there may be cases where staying overnight or visiting is prohibited.
Are there any furniture in the private rooms?
Yes, air conditioners, beds, curtains, storage space, and refrigerators are provided. Please inquire at the time of viewing for details.
What are the facilities in the dormitory?
Beds, mattresses, air conditioners, shared refrigerators and storage spaces are provided.
Are there locks on the rooms?
All private rooms have locks. For dormitory rooms, we have a personal in-room safe.
Is there a futon rental service?
Futons can be rented only for foreign residents coming from overseas. There is a charge of 7,000 yen for this service.

We recommend that you actively come to the shared living room for the first month after moving in. Many of the families at Kizunaya sharehouse like people, so please be brave and talk to them or join a dinner party. You will be warmly welcomed.
I'd like to know the age range and gender ratio of the people living here.
On average, 60% women and 40% men. The age of the residents varies from 20 to 30 years old, but on average, most of the residents are working adults around 25 years old. Each house is different, so please contact us for more details.
Is it possible to move in for just one month?
Unfortunately, we are a community-oriented share house, so we give priority to long-term residents. If you wish to stay for less than 3 months, we may not be able to accommodate you. We apologize for the inconvenience.
What kind of events do you have at the share house?
Each house has its own events, such as birthday parties, welcome parties, and so on. Several times a year, we also hold fun events with all houses such as renting out an amusement park or athletic field, and online learning events.
Do I have to participate in the events?
No, you are not required to participate. This is a share house with a lot of freedom where you can get involved in the community at your own pace.
I might get tired if I have to socialize a lot.
Because Kizunaya is a community oriented share house, there are some people who have the impression that we hold events every day, but basically, we value the residents gathering when they want to. There is no requirement to participate, and the atmosphere is basically free. In addition, there are many people who love people, so there are many families who want to actively enjoy socializing in the living room, and most people feel that a living room where you can feel the warmth is better than an empty living room. So if you don't value socializing much, this is not the right place for you.
Is there an age limit?
If you are under 20 years of age, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian to move in.
Also, please note that we cannot accept new tenants over the age of 35 except for those who are family households or are introduced by Kizunaya residents.
Are there any share houses where couples can move in together?
Yes, there are. You can move in as a couple in some of our share houses. Please contact us for details.
How much does it cost to move in?
The first month's rent and initial expenses. There is no deposit or key money.
The initial fee includes the cleaning fee when you move out and an administration fee.
The amount differs from house to house, so please check the property overview.
What is included in the common service fee?
The common service fee covers electricity, water, gas, utilities, consumables used in the common areas, and maintenance of the common areas of each house. Internet usage is provided free of charge. Please note that we do not guarantee that you will be able to connect to the Internet in the event that there is a problem with the connection.
What consumable items are included in the rent?
Trash bags, toilet paper, kitchen detergent, etc. for use in common areas.
Please prepare your own laundry detergent and bathroom supplies for personal use.
When is the earliest I can move in after viewing the room?
After viewing the room, you will be screened. The earliest you can move in is 14 days after passing the screening.
Is it possible to move in for a short period of time?
Basically, you need to move in for at least 3 months. Also, since we are a community-oriented share house, we may give priority to those who are considering moving in for a longer period of time.
Is it possible to move in without having a preview?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we always ask everyone to come and take a look at the share house before moving in so that you can get a feel for it.

What is the tenant screening process like?
