A community like a forest where trees support each other

SILVA is a sharehouse in Sasazuka, Tokyo with 13 private rooms for men and women. 7 minutes on foot from Sasazuka station with great access to Shinjuku and Shibuya in central Tokyo, the house was rebranded and reopened as a Kizunaya sharehouse in October 2023.

Newly built and renovated in 2019, the house is characterized by a large living room with a forest-inspired wood-based interior and a rooftop space with a sense of openness.

"Silva" is the word for "forest" in Latin. We hope that the house will be a community where residents with similar values support each other like trees in a forest.
A forest-like community where you can live as yourself welcomes its new residents.

A well-lit living room with large windows

Sharehouse SILVA is situated 7 minutes on foot from Sasazuka station, only one station away from Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The house is characterized by a wood-style interior and a living room with lots of light coming in from the large windows. It was designed to house a forest-like community where trees support each other.

“SILVA,” which is also the concept of the house, means “forest” in Latin.
A house where residents gather together to build a rich community just like a forest. The living room was designed to be a comfortable space where everyone can be their true selves.

Counter kitchen for cooking and conversation

The counter kitchen in the living room extension is a popular space among cooking lovers.
Enjoy a lively conversation over the counter, perhaps over a glass of beer.

SILVA is a sharehouse for 13 men and women with ample and spacious common areas.
Thanks to the high ceiling, it is the perfect house for those who want to enjoy a sense of openness in the middle of the city.

Furnished private rooms with all the essentials

All rooms in the house are private.
The rooms are furnished with a refrigerator, air conditioner, bed with a cover, storage space and curtains, so you can start your life in the house with only one suitcase.

The wallpaper varies by room. Please find your favorite among our wood-style and colorful, energetic wallpapers.

    FAQ

    Q symbol

Can I move-in even though I cannot speak local language?

Many residents have just begun their studies or are visiting Japan for the first time.
