A short bike ride from Asagaya station – Sharehouse Hygge
A warm light pours in from the large window facing south in the living room. Facing the living room, there is a spacious kitchen with a window, creating a space with an airy, comfortable atmosphere.
“Hygge,” which is also the concept of this house, refers to the Scandinavian tradition of enjoying communication with friends over a cup of tea and sweets. The spacious living room is perfect for enjoying teatime with your housemates.
The large living room window faces a large custom-made counter table. It was created as a space near the kitchen for residents to gather around and enjoy dinner and teatime together.
On your day off, enjoy a relaxing lunch here.
On Friday night, a conversation over a glass of beer.
We hope everyone will make use of this space in a variety of situations.
Hygge is a house with 13 private rooms for male and female residents, the perfect size for getting to know everyone at a comfortable distance.
Hygge was rebranded and opened as a Kizunaya sharehouse in September 2023. We hope to make it a comfortable home for all new residents.

Can I move-in even though I cannot speak local language?
Since Kizuna House is a share house where residents interact actively with each other, we receive many comments from residents that they are able to study the language by interacting actively with their share mates. Many residents have just begun their studies or are visiting Japan for the first time.
In particular, share houses with the concept of international exchange tend to have many people who are interested in foreign languages and cultures and want to speak English in their daily lives. Rest assured, many have actually improved their language skills since moving in!
