中国・台湾の文化を体験しました！
日本では冬至の日にゆず湯に入る文化がありますが、
中国・台湾では家族で温かいスープを食べる楽しみがあるそう！
海外ファミリーがわざわざ中華街で材料を買ってきてくれて、
冬至の日に振る舞ってくれました！
お豆のスープはとっても優しいお味で、心も体もほっこり！
ゴマペースト・ピーナッツペーストの入ったお団子も
甘くて幸せいっぱい！
とっても素敵な時間になりました！

We got to experience the culture of China and Taiwan!
In Japan, there is a culture of taking a yuzu-yu bath on the day of the winter solstice, but in China and Taiwan, people enjoy eating hot soup with their families!
A family from overseas bought the ingredients from Chinatown and served it to us on the winter solstice!
The bean soup tasted so gentle, it warmed my heart and body!
The dumplings with sesame paste and peanut paste were sweet and full of happiness!
It was a wonderful time!

実は去年もやったシークレットサンタを、
今年は海外ファミリーが音頭をとってくれました！
西洋の文化で、プレゼント交換で渡す相手を
自分だけが知っている、お楽しみ企画です^^

This year, it was a foreign family who took the lead!
It’s a fun project in western culture where only you know who you are going to give gifts to.

The gathering was cancelled due to the Corona disaster, but each of us decided to leave a gift in front of the door with a message.
It’s only in a share house that you can leave gifts in front of the door.
I wonder if everyone’s presents will be placed in front of the door tonight…
I’m really looking forward to it!
Being able to experience a variety of cultures is one of the fun things about share houses and international exchange houses!
