Nice to meet you! I’m Daichan, a 35-year-old man who is often mistaken for a college student these days. I’ve lived a career as a salesman, a caregiver, a traveler, and a YouTuber, and now I’m mainly in the video creator business (& YouTube).

In the past, I’ve been involved in share house ambassadors and startups, including Kizunaya sharehouse, so I’ve lived vicariously through share house living.

I live with the motto of “always have fun”! I’m looking forward to sharing lots of “fun” time with everyone, and creating an exciting life together. I’m a bit shy, but I’d be happy if you could be my friend! Thank you very much.

Originally, I met Kizunaya when my younger brother Seigo was living in a tabicco sharehouse in Osaka, and he introduced me to Kizunaya representative Masashi (Ma-shi-san) in February 2018. From there, I was able to visit tabicco and toiro, and also lived at Umigamesha and chanoya for a month each as an ambassador.

One of the most memorable episodes of our shared life together was when I proposed to my partner, Moka-chan, while we were living together at Umigamesha.
Everyone at the Umigamesha watched as I proposed to her, and when I succeeded, they posed with joy and said, “Yay!” When I succeeded, I was so happy to see that everyone was so warm and welcoming, and that was the most memorable moment for me.

At the Kizunaya sharehouse, I hope to use my strengths to capture everyone’s daily life through videos and creative things to express. Also, right now I’m studying to be an online psychological counselor! I hope to be able to help more and more people who are struggling with life, or who want to take a step forward, and enjoy life together. I’d like to experience lots of fun things with everyone, so please keep talking to me! Let’s enjoy our shared life together!

As a member of the management team, I would like to take on new challenges as a member of the management team while continuing my activities as a video producer and youtuber, which is the core of my life.
The reason why I joined the Kizunaya management team is because there is a warm community (place to live) like a family where we can cry together, laugh together, and support each other.
I believe that Kizunaya is a place where anyone can challenge themselves, from planning a big event to holding a small dinner party, and where the families who gather together can share their lives, and where the accumulation of small successes and relationships will eventually lead to personal growth and the realization of their dreams and what they want to do in the future. I believe that Kizunaya is such a place.
I would like to embody this in my own life, and I would like to grow more and more by being actively involved in events from my ordinary daily life.

I’d like to share a lot of happy times with everyone, so please help me out!

I’m Moka and I’ll be joining the Osaka management team in April.

For those of you who don’t know me, let me tell you a little about myself! After graduating from high school, I worked as an office worker, then at a hair salon, and then moved to Tokyo from my hometown in the countryside of Yokkaichi city, where I worked at a cosmetics company and a tavern. After that, I went to Ishigaki Island in search of the healing power of nature. I worked at various jobs and moved from place to place in Japan while saving up money to travel around the world.
I had never been able to sustain myself in any way, but travel was the only thing that kept me going.
I met my current partner, Dai-chan, on a trip that was supposed to be about self-discovery, and my life began to change drastically.

I’ve been traveling for a long time, looking for a “place to belong”, and that’s when I found “Kizunaya sharehouse”. I now have a dream of having three or more warm places to live with people I love, both in Japan and abroad, and living freely as I am, without being conventionalized.

Originally, I lived in Kanto’s Umigamesha and Osaka’s chanoya as an ambassador for the Kizunaya sharehouse. The episodes that have left the greatest impression on me during my time living in a share house are the events that I felt while living in Umigamesha.
It may be an ordinary scene of daily life, but there was a time in the living room one day when each resident really faced his or her life and had a dialogue with each other. I still remember the moment when we talked about our worries, conflicts, pains, joys, and values as they were, and I could feel the warm family-like relationship and atmosphere of mutual recognition.

I really like to get to know people’s way of thinking and values, so I hope to learn more about the people who live in Kizunaya, such as their thoughts and feelings about living in Kizunaya.
I hope that people who are connected through my favorite place, Kizunaya sharehouse, will be able to share their “likes” with each other.
Traveling, bonfires, and camping in the wilderness are just a few of my favorite things! I think it would be great if we could share our favorite things with each other, expanding the range of options in our lives and our dreams.

I think the Kizunaya sharehouse is a warm space where we can acknowledge and forgive each other, not only the positive aspects but also the negative ones.
I would like to create a community like Kizunaya, which I consider to be “more than a family”, with my loved ones and friends, both in Japan and abroad, and I think it would be very exciting if my dream and my experience as a manager at Kizunaya could connect the dots into the future and become a line.
More than as a manager, I would be happy to get to know many people as a person. I’d love to hear about your dreams and what you want to achieve in the future! I would be happy if we could create an exciting future together.

I look forward to working with you!

Moka-chan joined us because she is looking forward to meeting and experiencing the people she meets here more than anyone else, and wants to nurture the kind of relationships with many people that will allow her to share her life with everyone.
Together with Dai-chan, she works as a small life youtuber as “Sekatan”. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone as a member of the Kizunaya management team, a small life youtuber, and above all, as a person called “Moka-chan”! She looks forward to meeting you all![:]

Name (nickname): Akemi Hatano (Akemin)
Hobbies: Talking with people / Walking / Traveling
Favorite Quote: As many people as possible, as many important people as possible.

Nice to meet you! 120% for sure, people said to me “you have great energy”. All through my university life, and then I experienced being a nursery teacher. My name is Akemin, and I’m currently involved in relationship consulting and event management while exploring a new form of housing: a shared house inside a guesthouse.

When I was a university student, I had a strong desire to learn and grow, so I worked as a Japanese language teacher at a Japanese language school in Cambodia, tried traveling alone overseas, planned and managed travel events, participated in international cooperation in India, stayed in four locations as a disaster relief volunteer, and worked as a dairy farmer in the outskirts of Hokkaido. At university, in addition to supporting education, I belonged to a futsal club, worked as a staff member for an open campus, and also had a part-time job.

I found myself in a year where I had to look for a job, but I couldn’t get my heart into it, kept failing interviews, and kept trying to find a job and then taking a break. At one point, I suddenly asked myself if I wanted to continue to provide opportunities for people of my generation to travel by challenging what they wanted to do freely, even though I was no longer labeled as a student, and the answer was “no”.

I kept going abroad a lot, and every time I returned home, I felt the beauty of Japan, gratitude for my family and friends, and small joys and happiness. However, when I look at the news on TV and in the newspapers, I see the reality of the declining birthrate and aging population, children waiting for their parents, child abuse, suicides, incidents, accidents and many other news. At that time, I started to think about who I want to be and what I want to be doing in 3, 5, or 10 years instead of thinking about what will happen in 2 or 3 years.

At the same time, I looked back on my own life and wondered why I had been able to keep challenging myself. I remembered that I was born the youngest of four children, that I had many relatives, that I lived in an area where I had many connections with people, that I hosted an American exchange student as a homestay when I was in elementary school, and that I grew up in an environment where there was always an aunt from the next house in the living room of my parents’ house, and that I was involved with many different people. I remember growing up in an environment where I interacted with various people. I think that being in an environment where I could mix with various people from a young age led me to “like people” and “like to talk with people.” In today’s world where the number of nuclear families is increasing, I realized that the possibilities for children would expand if they could be connected with other people and be raised by many people.

I came to think that I would like to create an environment where parents can come into contact with many different values and ways of thinking, so that they can give their children many choices and allow their children to choose the path they want to live. I am interested in family education and early childhood education, and I want to create a community where families, students, and multiple generations can mix together. My lifelong dream is to “expand the potential of as many children as possible” and to “create a society where everyone involved with me can live comfortably”.

After graduating from university, I worked at an unlicensed nursery school, and instead of gaining experience within a large organization, my desire to create with my own hands grew, and I am currently involved in event businesses such as the launch and management of share houses in addition to Kizunaya sharehouse.

(With hitotoki family when I lived in hitotoki.)

I first encountered the Kizunaya sharehouse when I was a second-year university student.
I wanted to go to a place where I didn’t know anyone, meet people who didn’t know me, and I was interested in share houses, so I did an internet search for “share houses outside of the Kanto area,” and I was baffled by the many share houses that popped up. One day, I remembered that a friend of mine was always posting fun-looking posts on social media, so I asked her which share house she was looking for, and she told me about Kizunaya sharehouse. After reading the entire website, I immediately decided to live at tabicco in Osaka, which was located outside of the Kanto area.

After living in five Kizunaya share houses since then, I’m now joining the management team.

163752313_462718684924420_1801838048685120491_n

(A picture from my graduation from HASH 196. A memorable memory of the two weeks before I moved out.)

What I would like to do as a member of the Kizunaya management team is to find and know many good things about the families who live here and share them with everyone. I would like to be like a matching app that connects people with each other by getting to know each person’s strengths, weaknesses, and the values they hold dear. I want to be like a matching app that connects people.

I will create a relationship and a space where you can share your joy with this person when you want to, when you want support from this person, when you want advice from this person, and when you find yourself letting out your heart. I want to be a house community where you can meet as many people as possible who are important to you. I want to create that space not only with me, but with everyone in the family.

I also want to have fun not only within the house, but also at joint house events with everyone! I know it’s difficult at the moment because of the coronavirus situation, but I’m looking forward to the day when things settle down and I can spend time with my family in activities such as camping and traveling.

I’m also currently running my own share house. I joined the management team of Kizunaya at the same time because I like the community that Kizunaya creates, the warmth of the families who live there, and I like spending time at Kizunaya myself. 3 years ago, I met Kizunaya and have lived in 5 different houses. I have lived in five houses, and I have always felt comfortable in a relationship where people are equal regardless of age, where people can work hard at something, and where people can be close to the feelings of those around them and communicate things properly. I was saved many times by the sense of security of having people in the same house that I could naturally trust, such as sharing the same food and emotions around the table, going on trips, and listening to me in the living room when I needed to talk.

Of course, it wasn’t all fun and games, and there were times when the families clashed with each other, and there were times when we confused each other by not being able to communicate what we wanted to say. Even so, we were able to face each other and acknowledge each other, which gave us a strange feeling that we were not friends, colleagues, or family.

I was also attracted to the management members who were full of power to keep evolving the community, and I was very excited to be able to create a new future with them.

I’m mainly based in the Kansai area, but I’m looking forward to cooking, eating, and talking with everyone at the share house… I’d like to live a life full of natural smiles at Kizunaya sharehouse as a person myself. I also hope that this warm feeling will spread to everyone living together, and that the share house will become a place that enriches the lives of everyone. To the Kizunaya family, please accept my best regards!
